This is the first building by Brendan McGettigan & Associates Ltd for Athlone Town Council and it houses the land-based facilities which serve the new river-based Athlone Marina.The building is deliberately designed as an 'inside-out' structure thereby increasing its perceived scale and creating external colonnades reminiscent of historical riverside buildings.
